We offer classes for all ages in circus techniques, physical fitness and general conditioning.
From our Frayed Knot Youth Circus to private classes, we believe in a pedagogical and holistic approach to training and education with creativity at the core.
Frayed Knot have taught at previous circus schools alongside work within mainstream schools. We have worked in conjunction with Monster Productions and North Tyneside Youth Theatre after extensive experience in the South West of England.
In 2007, Frayed Knot attended the first meeting of the Network of International Circus Exchange (NICE) in Berlin. This led to further work with the European Volunteer Service and various one off projects; funded and independant.
Following the work maintained by The Circus Space in London, Frayed Knot was invited to sit on the Arts Council National Youth Circus Steering Commitee. The group works to raise the profile of circus in the UK and create opportunities for youth groups.
